Purpose of the Practitioners Course

This anti-corruption course has been designed to respond to water sector specific challenges. It complements formerly developed UN courses on anti-corruption.

The course is designed for sectorial and technical experts interested in deepening their knowledge of anti-corruption, as well as anti-corruption practitioners interested in implementing sectorial approaches. 

Upon completion of this courses students will be able to:

  • Identify the advantages of integrating anti-corruption tools in the water sector; 
  • Understand the linkages between corruption and anti-corruption, as well as effective service delivery in the water sector;
  • Identify common corruption risks and vulnerabilities that prevent effective service delivery and water management;
  • Understand the use of different tools and methodologies to identify and mitigate corruption risks in the water sector, and; 
  • Become familiar with best practices and lessons learned from addressing corruption and improving service delivery in the water sector. 

The completion of the course (following links to external sources not included) takes around 90  minutes.
