Transparency, Accountability and Participation (TAP) risk map (WIN, 2011a)

Transparency International and its national chapters in Kenya, Ghana and Senegal developed the TAP risk map. It identifies relevant stakeholders and assesses the integrity of their relationships in terms of Transparency, Accountability and Participation (TAP). Clear definitions have been established for TAP, and specific questionnaires are used for each group of stakeholders based on these definitions. Eventually, relationships between the stakeholders are scored (low, medium or high).

The TAP methodology also serves as a structured stakeholder analysis approach, since it assesses the relationships between actors. (Please note that a stakeholder analysis can have different objectives and scopes).
