Bribery in India – crowd-sourcing response
Reports are structured according to some 30 predefined reasons for paying a bribe, such as: clearing blocked sewage line, excess billing, extension of water connection or a faulty meter reading.
This concept has been replicated in Pakistan, Syria, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Greece, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Hungary, Colombia and Guyana and will soon be launched in Ghana.
