In four years, CIAA filed more than 60 cases of illicit enrichment against high ranking public officials, including former ministers and Inspector Generals of Nepal Police. Despite some resistance and controversy, the enabling environment led to a strong and successful anti-corruption drive in the country, which created alarm among public officials and built confidence.
