Box 10: Illustration of Agency’s Vision, Strategy and Workplan
An agency vision details an organization’s principles and how it sees itself operating. The multi-year strategy supports the achievement of activities in the National Action plan, but also gives broader, more long-term guidance, and its development should be based on input from an array of stakeholders (civil society, government, etc.).
Department-level annual plans are based on the objectives described in the strategy and specify key targets, activities, and indicators.
Annual work plans note the key outputs staff should produce and the activities they are involved in.
