Applying the Capacity Assessment Methodology to Anti-corruption Agencies

The Organizational level

An efficient organizational structure should show a clear division of labor and established reporting lines, and should correspond to clear job descriptions. Many ACAs fulfill multiple functions, and the organizational chart helps everyone navigate what to do and who to report to. The more an ACA takes on, the more important its organizational chart becomes. Furthermore, some ACAs are not only present at the national level, but also have sub-national offices; this will need to be reflected in the organizational chart.
